What will the setup look like?
Design details for the events are often in the planning stage until a short time before the events (they are always unique and designed by the photographer using up-cycled and repurposed items). This page will be updated once more information is available (or you can follow social stories for sneak peeks of progress).
Note: The studio is on the second floor and does not meet ADA standards. It is not wheelchair accessible.
General Information
The event session fee is $50. The full amount is required at booking. The fee is non-refundable but is transferrable to another event if notice is given before time of appointment. No shows forfeit 100% of fee.
After booking is completed you will receive a confirmation email (and a reminder email the day before appointment). You can easily reschedule if spots are available (save your confirmation email that has link)
Pet photo events are days of stacked 10 minute appointments. Each sitting includes three low/web res digitals of your choice for social sharing. After the event, the images will be uploaded to a proof gallery for you to make your image selections. Digital files will be made available for download after being retouched (1-2 weeks after selection submitted). You also have the option of purchasing professionally made prints and high res (printable) digitals through the proof gallery and you can save by selecting to add an upgrade add-on during booking.

All artwork ordered through the proof gallery print store is produced at a top-tier professional photo lab, ensuring the highest quality results. All printed items come with matching high res digital file.

What is a simple motif?
Simple motifs are simple, fun studio sessions with optional props and accessories. They are offered as events throughout the year but are also available as private sessions so you don't have to attend an event date. The props and accessories are provided by the studio (many are hand made by me) but you are welcome to bring something of your own (Bring Your Own Prop). Each event will feature a different color backdrop.

What comes with the session?
Events usually include three digitals of your choice sized for social sharing, but please refer to the information page because some events are different.
How long does it take to get my digitals from the event?
You will receive a proof gallery link to make your selections within a few days of the event. Then you can make your selections. The digitals are made available for download after the images are retouched, usually within 1-2 weeks.
How many proofs will there be?
It depends on the energy and comfort level of your pet. The sessions have a limited timeframe. In general, you can expect approximately 10 proofs to choose from.
My dog is not very trained and I don't think he will sit still...
The majority of people have this concern but I can assure you that it's not all about the perfect sit. Part of the fun is figuring out what works for each unique personality.
Can I be in the photo?
Yes, you are welcome to be in the photo.
How many pets can be included?
The session can include more than one pet in the session but we will get less variety of each one due to the time limit.
Can I bring my cat?
Yes, photos take place in a secure space and cats are welcome to come. Just keep in mind that cats often need more time to acclimate to the new space so it can limit the number of images, and variety we are able to get.
I can't make to to the event date, but I love the motif...
All simple motifs can be done during private nano sessions - or choose three and book a Power Hour. The advantage of attending the event is the session fee is less because the setup is for many appointments, but sittings are stacked and limited to 10 minutes. The advantage of the private nano session is you get a little more time (15 minutes).
Styled/propped events are unique and only available on the event dates and themes are not usually repeated.
